Honestly, I do work hard...

I know some of you think I don't work very hard, that all I do is sit around, watch a little television and surf the internet, but I intend to prove you wrong. I've learn't a lot in my job and have picked up a lot of new skills and I'm going to show you what they are.

So on Friday i took my camera into work in order to fully capture the blood, sweat and tears I put into my 9-5 shift.

Well.... that was the intention anyway. We ended up going out in a boat around Deep Cove in North Van, and then I took the rest of the afternoon off. I know it's a hard life, but I have enjoyed the times I've been out on a boat. Not to mention the daily trips I make on the sea bus I've also been out here and here Just another thing I'm going to miss.

The weather was quite overcast but we decided to go anyway. I'd already got a solid 45 minutes of internet surfing and e-mailing in before we left

Speed, give me what I need, grease lightning, speed on speed, wheels on wheels... A few genius lyrics there from Billy Idol's official song to the movie "Speed"

Even though it was overcast it made Deep Cove quite moody and eery. The perfect place for pirates to strike, plunder and pillage

Not Pirates, but a large group of Korean students studying something. More like slacking off

There I am again. To any Disney chiefs reading this blog, just look at me. I'm a natural at sea. Get rid of Johnny Depp and replace him with me

A waterfall, not the last one I'd see over the weekend

There's the boat, didn't even chip the propeller this time

The other crew members, but you don't really want to see them do you

One of the best views of downtown Vancouver. Took on my way home from the North Shore while waiting for the sea bus

We went out to gastown that night which finally allowed me to have my picture taken with the steam clock. It was built all the way back in 1977. Which in Vancouver years means it's almost ice age material

It did get a little "steamy".

I'm sorry, that was terrible. I'll get my coat.

Go on then, just tell me what I need to do. Will I be able to sign John Stead?
