All good things...

So the final rent check has been paid, the final bus pass bought and only 2 weeks left at work.

Yes we are now in our final full month in Vancouver before one last epic rail journey around America. It's quite strange to think that the year will be coming to an end. It seems to have flown by and yet I've felt like I've been here all my life.

It may be a little early to start reflecting back on what the experience has been like but I guess it's changed us all in some way. Probably, a little bit, maybe, probably not.

With an experience like this, being away from everything you've ever known, you discover new things about yourself and what you want from life. You become aware that if you don't like something or don't want to be somewhere there's always another option.

I guess we've all grown in someway, which probably won't become apparant until we go home and everyone asks "why do you keep saying awesome". What decsions we make about our futures, who knows, but whatever they are I'm sure they'll be the right ones for us. Most of them anyway.

Yeh, that was a little depressing. Need some pictures to cheer me up.

It was the Vancouver pride parade this weekend. Not that this picture has any relation to that

My parents new house in France. I can just imagine a man on a bicycle riding down that hill. Wearing a striped shirt and a beret with onions around his neck

The final night of the fireworks from Mexico. They went onto win the event for some reason or another

Even fireworks are starting to advertise christmas products earlier this year

I remember when all this used to be trees

For $12 we bought a badminton set. How are we going to cope without Canadian Tire. They sell everything. Even weights, though be careful not to drop them on your foot

Communication. Ian and Keenie struggling to play. But then many people would against the dream team of myself and Gav. Undefeated and never even troubled. Was it any coincidence that we both have hairy chests?

How many more times will we go to the beach. My guess is 13,343 times

An old one of me and a clean shaven Simon. Look at Gav in the background though. He's obviously not impressed by something
