Gone in 60 Seconds

"Man this guy can drive" Det Drycoff (Gone in 60 Seconds)

Well, we finally get to the snow mobiling action. I'm going to start with my personal photographs from this adventure and then later on put up some of the professional ones. The whole thing lasted around 3 hours, 2 hours on the machine and cost $201.54 (That's around 100 of your English Pounds). Basically we got kitted up, receieved a demonstration that scared the hell out of us and then on we went.

Having no experience we decided to choose the intermeidate course and were led by the guide in single file. It was fantastic driving the machines and the only problem I had was remembering to steer as I looked at the spectacular views.

The highlight included a free for all drive on a big open space of snow where we could just race around on our own for about half an hour. There were quite a few bumps as well which allowed you to get a bit of airtime. This was follwed by a much faster drive back where you were going hell for leather down some slopes as fast as you could.

There were a few mishaps however. Hannah managed to drive her ski-doo into a ditch and luckily wasn't hurt. She had to drive back with Ian and even then they tipped over once we got to a soft snow section.

All in all it was well worth the money and I would gladly do it again.

I feel the need, the need for speed

You often had to correct your driving when looking at some views and stop yourself falling to a premature death

Lovely

Hooray, everybody made it back alive. Wait a minute, where's Keenie
